The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to an estimated $205 million for next Tuesday’s draw (11/26/2013), the first time since March 2012 the jackpot has surpassed $200 million!
The November 22 draw produced the game’s first $3 million winning ticket, purchased in North Carolina with the added Megaplier option. That ticket matched the five regular Mega Millions numbers, and included the Megaplier, an additional purchase for just $1 extra. The Megaplier is available in most jurisdictions and multiplies all non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4 or 5 times. The 3x Megaplier was drawn for November 22, meaning that the $1 million standard prize for a Match 5+0 ticket was Megaplied to $3 million.
