A single winning ticket sold in Georgia matched all six Mega Millions numbers drawn Friday night, November 18 – the five white balls 31, 32, 49, 55 and 58, plus the gold Mega Ball 15. The ticket is worth $83 million ($50.8 million cash). The final jackpot amount was increased slightly based on actual sales.

Also in Friday’s drawing, there were two $1 million Match 5 winning tickets, one each in Illinois and New York.

The jackpot had been rolling since it was last won in Texas on October 11. Since that last jackpot win, there have been more than 10.6 million winning tickets sold at all prize levels, including nine worth $1 million or more.

It marks the eighth Mega Millions jackpot won this year, following earlier wins on January 8 (New York), March 8 (Washington), July 8 (Indiana), July 19 (Washington), July 22 (split between Georgia and Virginia), September 16 (Illinois) and October 11 (Texas).

The jackpot resets to $15 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, November 22.
