The Mega Millions jackpot is still growing! No ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night – the white balls 9, 20, 23, 26 and 29, plus the gold Mega Ball 8 – so the estimated jackpot for Friday, June 5, will be $378 million ($297.6 million cash). At that level, it’s the fourteenth largest jackpot in the history of the game and the largest offered since June 2019!
Three tickets matched the five white balls to win the game’s second prize – one each in California, Florida and Ohio. There were 45 tickets that matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the third prize of $10,000; eight of those are actually worth $30,000 each because they included the optional Megaplier, a $1 extra purchase available in most states. Tuesday night’s Megaplier was 3X.
Since the Mega Millions was last won in New Jersey on February 11, there have been more than 15.6 million winning tickets at all prize levels, including 30 worth $1 million or more.
