Missouri player wins $1 million on the Fourth of July Drawing Date: 7/4/2023 July 13, 2023 - A lucky Missouri Lottery player got a little extra bang for his buck when his Mega Millions® ticket won a $1 million prize in the July 4 drawing by matching all five white-ball numbers drawn. He purchased the winning ticket at Casey’s, 800 E. Scenic Rivers Blvd., in Salem, Mo. When he checked the Quick Pick ticket the next day, he could not believe his eyes. “I read it the first time, then I read it a second time, and then I read it a third time just to make sure I wasn’t reading something wrong!” the player shared. He also shared plans to put his winnings away for his retirement. “I’m getting close to that, so this will make that much better,” he said. Mega Millions is a multi-state game that is drawn on Tuesdays and Fridays. The July 14 jackpot is an estimated $560 million.
