Do I need to pinch myself?’” she laughed. “That’s a lot of money!” The ticket she purchased at Walmart, 2700 Ridge Point Drive in High Ridge, matched all five white-ball numbers for a base prize of $1 million. Now that Mega Millions tickets have a built-in multiplier feature, her prize was immediately multiplied by the multiplier number printed on her ticket. Because that number was a 3, she won a total of $3 million. The winning numbers that night were 9, 39, 47, 58 and 68 with a Mega Ball number of 24. Mega Millions is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 p.m. In FY25, players in Jefferson County won more than $40.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.6 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $19.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
